Boca-based PC Professor Sells Franchise
In Broward
When people think of franchises, they usually think of hamburger
joints, pizza places or some store in the mall.
But not Howard Fellman, president and co-founder of PC
Professor. Fellman's privately held company operates a
computer training and repair center in Boca Raton. The firm also has an
office on Okeechobee Boulevard in suburban West Palm Beach.
Now Fellman has sold his first PC training and repair franchise. It opened
this week in Pembroke Pines.
PC Professor also was recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine in
their Franchise 500 issue, although
the company has only been in business since 1989 when Fellman started it
with his brother, Steven.
Still, he's got a long way to go before overtaking the famous fast- food
chains.
"When people think of pizza, they call Domino's. When people need
computer training and repair, I want them to instantly think of PC
Professor," Fellman said.
